Listen. Suspect. Vote.
One of four musicians is the hidden “Sullae.” Listening to the music and watching the performers’ gestures, the audience votes to remove the musician they suspect. The hidden player improvises without a score while the other three follow rhythmic scores. Votes follow the first three movements, and the hidden role is revealed at the end. With each vote, the ensemble narrows from a quartet to a solo, allowing the audience’s decisions to reshape both the music and its outcome. Sullae turns listening into a process of inference and choice, exploring the boundaries between music and games, shared rules and improvisation.
네 명의 연주자 가운데 한 명은 정체를 숨긴 ‘술래’다. 관객은 소리와 몸짓을 관찰하고 투표하여 술래라고 의심되는 연주자를 무대 밖으로 내보낸다. 술래는 악보 없이 즉흥연주하고 다른 세 명은 리듬 악보를 따른다. 첫 세 악장이 끝날 때마다 투표하며 정체는 마지막에 공개된다. 투표가 거듭될수록 앙상블은 사중주에서 독주로 줄어들고, 관객의 판단은 음악의 구성과 결말에 직접 개입한다.
