These songs introduce children to the scales, rhythms and instruments of Korean traditional music through singing. Pitch names connect with familiar words, while unfamiliar rhythms become patterns to count and sing aloud.
한국 전통음악의 음계와 장단, 악기를 노래로 만나는 창작동요 작업이다. 율명을 익숙한 낱말과 연결하거나 낯선 박자를 직접 세어 부르며, 음악의 원리를 노래하는 경험 안에 담는다.

This song invites children to count and sing the alternating groups of two and three in eotmori rhythm. A pattern that feels unfamiliar at first becomes engaging through repetition, just as getting to know someone different can reveal qualities we had not noticed.
두 박과 세 박이 엇갈리는 엇모리장단을 세어 부르는 노래. 서로 다른 모습 그대로 함께 노래하고 나아가기를 바란다.

Inspired by “Do-Re-Mi” from The Sound of Music, this song pairs the five pitch names of Hwangjong pyeongjo with familiar Korean words. A second verse offers simpler vocal syllables for younger children.
황종 평조의 다섯 음 ‘황·태·중·임·남’을 익숙한 낱말에 연결해 자진모리장단 위에서 부른다.
